Why use an online alarm instead of your phone?

  • Need a quick one-off (oven check, meeting reminder) without unlocking your phone.
  • Want the alarm to go off through your laptop speakers — louder than a buried phone.
  • Send a friend a link that opens the alarm already set to a specific time.
  • Already at your computer and don’t want to drain phone battery.

  2. Add a label and pick a sound if you like.

Frequently asked questions

How do I set an alarm online?

Pick the hour and minute, optionally add a label and pick a sound, then click Add alarm. Keep this tab open and the alarm will go off at the chosen time.

Can I set more than one alarm?

Yes — you can set up to 5 alarms at the same time. Each one can have its own label, sound, and snooze state. They all persist in this browser, so they survive a page reload.

Will the alarm go off if I close the tab?

The alarm needs this tab to stay open. You can leave it open in the background — even minimised behind other windows — and it will still go off at the right time. If you close the tab, the alarm is cancelled.

What if my computer goes to sleep?

Most browsers pause background tabs when the computer sleeps. If your laptop sleeps before the alarm time, the alarm will not wake it up. For a wake-up alarm, keep your computer plugged in and disable sleep, or use your phone.

How long is snooze?

Snooze delays the alarm by 9 minutes. Tap Snooze when the alarm goes off and it will trigger again 9 minutes later. Tap Stop to dismiss it entirely.

Can I share an alarm time with someone?

Yes. You can send someone a link that opens the alarm page with a specific time already filled in — they just have to click Add alarm.
